A highly artistic antique northwest Persian Kurdish rug from Bidjar, featuring a distinctive and beautifully colored diagonal stripe design. The wide ranging palette includes ivory, aubergine, madder red, green, sky blue, coral, brick red, yellow and brown. One of the most classic of early Bidjar border styles, comprised of large leaves and flowerheads, frames the field.
Good general condition with low pile and oxidation.
