Quadrifoglio Gallery is a nationally regarded gallery specializing in antique Oriental rugs and contemporary, natural dye Persian carpets. The gallery is located 15 miles west of Boston in historic South Natick, Massachusetts and is open by appointment. Quadrifoglio Gallery owners Helen and Douglas Stock work with private clients and interior designers across the United States and exhibit at select antiques shows.

Douglas Stock originally planned on being a college professor and was awarded a Philip Francis du Pont Fellowship in the Graduate Department of Philosophy at The University of Virginia. After completing eight courses toward his Ph.D., Douglas left the program to pursue other interests, eventually transitioning from being a collector of Oriental rugs into a dealer in antique rugs. A four sport high school athlete, Douglas received a B.A. in Philosophy from Gordon College, where he played Varsity Ice Hockey and J.V. Soccer.

Recognized as one of the leading American authorities on antique Oriental rugs, Douglas is a long time member, and serves as chairman, of the Antique Carpets Vetting Committee at The Winter Antiques Show in New York. In conjunction with his wife and fellow antique carpet expert, Helen, Douglas has spoken three times at The Textile Museum in Washington, D.C. and has written many articles, often co-authored with Helen, for magazines and antiques trade publications. In addition to his interest in antiques and music, Douglas enjoys serving as a mentor for kids in their academic and athletic pursuits and has served as a coach for Wellesley, Massachusetts Senior League baseball.

Helen Stock is widely admired for her strong intellect and gentle temperament. Helen has an exceptional eye for antique Oriental rugs and relates exceedingly well with clients. She is an outstanding researcher and writer and has co-written numerous articles on antique Persian rugs for magazines and antiques trade publications. Helen has spoken at The Textile Museum in Washington, D.C. on three occasions. Helen’s extraordinary eye for antique rugs has led to the selection of many of the finest rugs we have ever handled.

A gifted swimmer, Helen Stock was recognized as the female scholar-athlete in her high school graduating class. Helen received a B.A. in English and Political Science from Boston College, where she was a four year member of the Varsity Swim team and also lettered in Sailing. Helen then did considerable graduate level  coursework in business at the Harvard University Extension School.

Helen also has her own businesses, Helen Stock Designs, where she does custom floral designs for individuals and events. Helen’s floral designs have been exhibited four times at Art In Bloom at The Musuem of Fine Arts Boston.
